Michigan head coach Joe McFarland talks about what it takes to be successful and the differences between his generation and wrestlers now days. What has not changed is what it takes and that is to continually come in and go to work whether you are having a good day or a bad day. What has changed is the wrestlers and the lives they may have lived. More often than when he was a wrestler, wrestlers are coming from different backgrounds and different family situations. It is important that coaches keep in good communication with their athletes because each one may respond to things differently.
