Shafer was without an attempt from 7:25 until 8:08. now the calls were 11 seconds apart which is kind of quick but 43 seconds of inactivity is plenty of time to earn a stall point. plenty of refs love attention but the calls were just. and yes, maybe a little make up for the foot grab.

this is Jason Johnson not Cliff Sandee and the was definitely illegal in high school. first he grabbed the toe not the foot, and he pulled it which creates illegal pressure on the joint.

those stall calls were a make up for the illegal move that was used to turn Vandemeer in the 1st. I also believe the MHSAA's view of St Johns is very apparent in the match

Horrible job by ref on those stalling calls, 7 seconds in between the call and the kid is working up... the ref should have at least announced the first stalling call.
